Navigating the Tech Nation Endorsement Process

The endorsement process for the Global Talent Visa in digital technology begins with submitting a Stage 1 application to the UK Home Office, which is then forwarded to Tech Nation for assessment. You must either apply as Exceptional Talent or Exceptional Promise by indicating that in your application and providing clear evidence against the mandatory and optional criteria.

Tech Nation typically aims to assess endorsement applications within approximately 8 weeks. If your application is successful, you will receive an endorsement notification via the Home Office, which you must then use to apply for the actual visa within a set period. If your endorsement is refused, you may have options such as requesting a review, reapplying with additional evidence or exploring alternative routes.

Factors Considered by Tech Nation for a Successful Grant of Endorsement

In addition to the formal application requirements on the form and format of documents, Tech Nation assesses each UK Global Talent Visa applicant on whether they meet the mandatory and optional criteria with emphasis on demonstrable impact, innovation and recognition by the wider digital technology industry. Tech Nation evaluates additional evidence showing achievements and public profile of the candidate. Other important factors include the strength and credibility of recommendation letters as well as candidate’s personal statement on how the applicant’s skills and experience are likely to benefit the UK’s digital technology ecosystem if based in the UK.
