This route is open to talented and promising individuals in the fields of arts and culture wishing to work in the UK.

If you are ready to position yourself as a leader in your field, we help to turn your achievements into a path to settlement in the UK.

Overview of the Arts and Culture Global Talent Visa

Arts and Culture Global Talent Visa is a route for highly skilled individuals who are leaders or potential leaders in their field. It enables you to live and work in the UK without a job offer or employer sponsorship and offers broad flexibility over the work you do. This visa route is suitable for you if you are a leader or potential leader in one of the following fields:

  • combined arts, dance, literature, music, theatre or visual arts

  • architecture

  • fashion design

  • film and television, including animation, post production and visual effects

  • When applying for endorsement you must first define your applicable field and the endorsing bodies. Arts endorsing bodies are:

    (1)     Arts Council England

    (2)     British Fashion Council

    (3)     Royal Institute of British Architects

    (4)     Producers Alliance for Cinema and Television

  • To get a Global Talent Visa under Arts and Culture category, you first need to apply for endorsement to prove that you are a leader or potential leader in your applicable field. The Endorsement Body will assess your endorsement application against the published criteria and recommend to UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) whether you are endorsed or not.

The Endorsement Body will be different for each individual field. You can apply for the visa once you have obtained an endorsement in your relevant field, or without an endorsement if you’ve won an eligible prize.
